Groomfield Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our global client with the recruitment of a Buyer for their site based in Skelmersdale.
The position will initially be a 6 month contract.
Our client, who have an excellent reputation for their varied products around the world, have an exciting opportunity to work within their team.
The position will include:
- Manage a portfolio of 50 suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance
- Raise PO’s and expedite work
Working hours for this position are Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.
Salary on offer is between £15.38 per hour.
In order to be considered for this position, you must have:
- Buying experience within a Manufacturing environment with a minimum of 12 months experience ESSENTIAL
- SAP and Excel knowledge/experience ESSENTIAL
- Able to work within a fast-paced environment
- Competent to work alone
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Be available to interview and start immediately
